The Museum of Russian Art is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt charitable corporation registered in Minnesota and recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. TMORA does not receive funding from any national, state or local agency. The Museum seeks financial support from individual contributors whose donations are fully tax deductible at the respective state and local level. Member's contributions provide valuable unrestricted financial operating funds to the Museum. These funds are applied to the preservation of the permanent collection of paintings, the implementation of the scholarship research program, the conduct of public exhibitions and general museum expenses.
